Section V Volleyball History:

In Section V, 97 teams compete in girls volleyball at the varsity level in Section V. The schools are divided into 8 different classifications that are based on enrollment.

Geographically, Section V consists of the city of Rochester, its surrounding towns and villages in Monroe County, and the Counties along the Genesee River and Eastern Finger Lakes. There are eleven Athletic Sections in New York State.
