From Springfield College, which boasts plenty of Western NY players... AJ Nally (Mcquaid/Pace) took home AVCA National D3 Player of the Year (first at Springfield to receive the honor) and First Team. Cal Palumbo (Hilton/Pace) grabbed First team honors for a third straight year (pretty impressive).

Posted - 04/16/2010 : 5:08:51 PM It's very impressive that Nally has come back, less than a year removed from surgery to fix a torn shoulder labrum (an injury that frequently ends baseball pitchers' careers), to win D3 player of the year. Nice job AJ!
And Palumbo is just a beast. |
