Posted - 04/21/2010 : 09:20:17 AM Big South was a small turn out (18)and so was NEQ for open (24), seems like fewer teams are playing open. I believe TAV and Nebraska One both had open bids so bids were awarded to 3rd Premier Dallas 4th Premier Nebraska and 5th not sure either East Troy or Team from Puetro Rico Overall great opportunity for girls! |

Man, that was a small qualifier. Couldn't have been more than 2 bids awarded, maybe fewer? I guess teams didn't want to travel up to the hinterlands. I didn't even see M1, that area's top club. Weird. |

Posted - 04/19/2010 : 8:10:16 PM Conjure fell just short of an open bid this weekend in minny! Played fantastic first day beating kj out of seatle and Iowa Rockets. 2 close games to East Troy out of Wisconsin, finishing second in pool. Second day had to face TAV, #1 seed in tourney, played very strong game one making little errors but was just out played by a very strong team. Our starting setter went down game 2 after player came under net. She was placed in a walking boot and was out for duration of tourney. Conjure battled and beat front range but lost a disppointing game to premere dallas. We played extremely well with all things considering. A great tourney and a 9th place finish for Conjure. Great job girls |
