It looks like the VFX16-1 Mantra took 38th place, winning the first match in flight 5 but losing the second. Great job by the 18-1s tied for 5th.

FX 16s win first match and end pool in a three-way tie for 4th, due to games w/l, they exit pool in last place... move into g2 pool to face Texas team and a Washington State team ...probably a good draw.

NFVB 17s win Flight 3 to finish 29th.

Yep, FX 18s out of pool third. Victory against PVA 18s (KE) in last match of their day was pivotal. In a 3 team pool with a North Texas team and an Ohio Valley team to stay in the top of the National Division.

FX 16s 0-3 in their National pool; as 4th seed have an undefeated team yet to play and an unsuccessful opponent as well.

Looks like the magic pulled it out making it a 3 way (3-2) tie for 2nd, but they should take 3rd on set percentage.

Niagara Frontier 17s finish first pool in a three way tie for second (3-2 in match play), drop to 4th based on games won/loss. More to play tomorrow.

VolleyFX 18s (1-2), finish National pool tonight.

VolleyFX 16s start tonight.

Conjure had an amazing weekend... Despite playing entire first day without their coaches (flight was canceled due to storms) they went 1-2 first day. The following day beat a tough team out of Kansas (2 seed 10 overall in pool) to advance to top half. Being a 3 seed in next pool we had to play a tough undefeated Jammers out of Hawaii (2nd Hawaii team we played so far). Then play a team out of Southern Cal. Conjure went 1-1 in this pool and almost took first place. They had to next play a tough Hawaii team KA Ul (3rd Hawaii team) they were 8 -0 coming into the match and destroying everyone. This was our gold silver cross over match. It was a good game but lost in two. This Hawaii team ended up winning the National level fairly easily. Playing this weekend was all about taking advantage of opportuntities and match ups when you had them. We had a very tough cross over match up. In the silver we beat the Texas Titans (any time you beat a texas team its an accomplishment) they were 8-1 coming into the quaterfinals of silver only losing their crossover match. In the Semi finals we played a woodland wave team 8-1 only losing crossover match (Finished 3rd last year in 2009 Nationals) they had beaten 2 teams that advenced to gold and lost their crossover in 3 to Northernlights who finished 3rd overall. We played them tough but felt the burn of a 4 day tourney and ran out of gas. Conjure did finish 11th overall and had a wonderful season. I am extremely proud of each and every one of them!! Good job girls...
