First Annual Cow Tipper Volleyball Tournament

Type of Tourney: Grass 4’s
(CO-ED is allowed, must play in Boys/Mens division)

Team Divisions:
Open Men – Age 19 or older and elite juniors teams
Boys Juniors – 18 and under, 16 and under, 14 and under
Girls Juniors – 18 and under, 16 and under, 14 and under

Prizes: Won’t know unless you come and play
Date: Sunday, June 1, 2008
Time: 9AM to 6ish (depends on the number of teams)
Format: Pool-play then play-offs
Where: Midlakes HS and MS, corner of Rte 488 and Rte 96
Cost: $20 a player
Concession: There will be a concession stand with pizza, hot dogs, burgers, etc. for a small price.

We will be taking entries until Thursday, May 29, 2008

It's too bad this is right before the boys nationals, otherwise I'm sure there would be a better turn out. I know that if the date was changed to a later one I would play in it.

If someone rolls an ankle then there is a good chance they won't be 100 percent for nationals, Thats all I'm saying.

We had a pretty good turnout, with around 20 teams. There was very few girls teams and mostly open teams. The weather held out until the finals.

vs.
Salisbury, Erin Kelly, Ryan Barney, and Dan Mowery

Salisbury's team was up like 17-13 when we stopped playing because of the rain.
