I didn't realize Volley FX is a JVDA club. Is this new this year? How does this affect Regionals? Will they not compete for a USA JO bid and compete in the JVDA Nationals instead.
More importantly, how did I not know this? |

First of all I think it is great that any of our WEVA players and teams are getting press...WE ALL BENEFIT! I just wish I could see it.

Ok - Found out. It is a piece on some of the VFX girls, their recruiting trips, committments and a piece on Mary Cushman!

Congrats to those girls.
Prepvolleyball.com does a really great job publishing what you send in. Each couple of weeks they ask if anyone has a possible story of interest about a player, team, family in their club. If you get them the info and they think it interesting enough, they will go with it. Earlier this year, they did a big feature on the dynamic Herc twins if NFVB/Eden, for example.
The JVDA report is like the weekly Court Report they put out. If you send in a report on team's successes in various tourneys or any signings, they will publish it almost word for word. For example, we put out various commitments awhile ago and they did report them. They are really good about it.
The JVDA thing I guess reports only on clubs that are registered JVDA and ANY club can do so and still be a member of USAV. They are not exclusive. I believe NFVB has been a member of both since we have regularly competed in JVDA tourneys in Chicago, Maumee, and Dayton. |

Thanks for clearing up my JVDA confusion.
I have subscribed to PrepVolleyball for 2 years. Its a great site and John Tawa does an AMAZING amount of research for it. I honestly don't know how he does it.
Wish there was more of a local presence on that site, especially now that we are making some inroads Nationally. |
