GYNT- 2009 FIVB Youth World Championships- Thailand
Competition Dates: July 3-12

Lauren Metzger, a sophomore at North Tonawanda and member of the NFVB 16-1 National team was selection to the 18-Member Training team for the USA Youth Team. This is historic news . Pretty sure we have never had a girl from the State of New York achieve such a high level in the USA Pipeline!

Congrats Lauren and the NFVB Club!

I think the older girls tryout tonight, and younger girls on May 5th.

NFVB's Bridget Shanahan was selected to the International Competition held this summer in Ft. Lauderdale to compete on one of USA's teams. She will train with 30 other selected girls for four days prior to competition.

NFVB's Stacey Smith was selected as an alternate to the same event for the older age group.

Congrats to both!

And NFVB 15-1's Kendall Pierce was selected to the Continental Training team for the Youth Select age Division to also compete in Ft. Lauderdale.

Congrats to the girls who also made various HP camps.
