Keep your eyes peeled for a coed event at the BNCC hosted by WNYvball.com! I hear it is supposed to go down at the end of this month and that there will be an A and B division. Now, people from Rochester, I know the BNCC is a horrible place for volleyball and WNYvball.com is a waste of time, but I will be there! Guess I am a sadistic baller!!!!!

Actually the BNCC is an absolutely great place for volleyball. Rochester would be very lucky to have such a facility.

However, you are correct when you refer to the website as a waste of time (your words, not mine). I'm waiting for there to be some quality content. I keep checking....there's just not a lot going on there yet.

The tournament will take place on February 28th, 2010. It will be a 4 Men, 2 Women tournament starting at 9 AM. There will be an "A" and "B" Level as well as a Men's Over 45 division. For more information and signups, click here.

Well, I guess if you don't play in Buffalo then it is a waste of time, but with all the schedules up for more than a half-dozen leagues and 100's of people participating in those events, I guess it isn't a complete waste of time.

As much as it pains me to say it, I agree with Voice of Reason to a certain extent. The amount of content that the site has is no where near what it needs to be. Unfortunately, I can only nag and bother the league administrators so much to send me information from their leagues.

Having said that, the format of the site makes its potential basically endless as long as the information is provided.

Aspirations are high for further development of this project and I don't forsee any issues in the deterrence of our goal.

**CORRECTION**

The WNYvball.com VolleyBash is on SATURDAY February 27th!

We'd really like to get some teams for the Over 45 Men's Division, but there are only 1-2 available in the Buffalo region. Are there any teams from Rochester that would want to play in this division?

Even a pseudo Rochester (Naz) team came to our last BNCC tourney...didn't do so well, but at least they came.

Ummmm by not a lot you mean they have standings and schedules for almost all the Buffalo leagues and pick-up ball...

This site doesn't have any information like that...

If you mean there isn't much activity...have you seen the posts on here lately?

I think the only people that post on here are girls’ fathers and us Voice...

Checking on the interest of it still but 3-4 teams of 45 and older ladies have contacted us from WNY and PA to have a division for them. If there is enough interest, we may have a division for them as well!! Will be nice to have some eye candy for the male players
