At the Vegas event last year, I got a chance to talk to Jason Hodell and let him know about the great interest in the AVP and beach VB in our area...reminiscing about the events at Charlotte and how well attended they were.
He said he would he look into it...not sure where the "Grassroots" sites will end up. Hopefully something more in this area.
Very approachable guy...great to talk to. Good for the AVP. Now just need to pressure them into bringing an event closer to us.
That schedule is sad looking compared to a few years ago. No Chicago, No Brooklyn and No Vegas. Ugg....
Jason is a really good guy. I've had the chance to play against him a few times throughout the years. Wow, that makes me sound old.....
He has strong ties to the East Coast and it wouldn't surprise me to see some of the "Grassroots" events in NJ and down near New York City. However, I think it's a stretch to see them run anything in our area.
