Congratulations to the VFX 12-1 team who won the Nor'easter Tournament without dropping a set. Great playing girls!

And to Xtreme 15-1 Wildfire for winning the 15s Nor'easter. Played Lakeside 15-1 Gators in the finals who beat Xtreme 25-19, 25-12 in the challenge match of the VFX Challenge last weekend and Xtreme won 25-23, 22-25, 15-10 after being down 2-8 in game 3 (13-2 run)!

Wish their website was updated. They still have the 2009 Nor'easter posted. |

lakesidevolleyball.net now holds the nor'easter. ncaj.org is no longer the host of the nor'easter. However, lakesidevolleyball.net doesn't have updated results. In 18's, the finals was between SMASH (Mass.) and United (Long Island)--I left before it started. Xtreme 18-1, NFVB 18-2, and Premiere 18-1 all lost in the first round of gold. Xtreme played tight 3 set match with Hardrock (CT). Onondaga lost in semis to SMASH.

18s Gold Final: SMASH defeated United in 2, I think the 2nd set was 28-26 or something like that. Semis: Smash over Onondaga, United over Hardrock Quarters: Smash over NFVB 18-2, Onondaga over Crosscourt, United over Premiere, and Hardrock over Xtreme.
