Former Penfield High School Coach Jack Hunter has once again been nominated for the Frontier Field Athletic Hall of Fame. He is in the category of amateur coach. Part of the nomination process includes on-line voting for candidates.

I think most people on this site realize how successful he was and how nice it would be to see a volleyball person make the Walk of Fame. For those unfamiliar, Coach Hunter won 11 Section V titles in boys and two InterSectional Championships. When he retired he had won over 90% of all boys contests he coached in.

His girls teams were also very successful. PEnfield won several county titles and over 70% of the matches he coached.

Please take a minute to visit the Frontier Field website (http://www.frontierfield.org/) to vote for Jack.

Coach Hunter is again nominated for the Frontier Field Walk of Fame. It appears no one from the sport of volleyball is in the Walk of Fame. Coach Hunter is certainly deserving and with the history of vball in Rochester there should be SOMEONE inducted by now. Please go vote for Coach Hunter! Link is below.
