I was watching ESPN last night (5:30am) and after the exciting hour of...and i am not kidding...."the World Federation of Juggling" championships........http://www.jugglingcompetition.com/.......hosted by Penn Gillette....
There it was ...ROCBALL!!!!!
All the glory that is brought by five hits and more. Leading the game off was Tiny Glibman from deMoine.....he started off with a seldom seen side spin half nelson.
The play was capped off when everyone on the court losted interested and started chasing shiny objects in the crowd.....
I thought I saw retires in the audience with a popsicle in his hand trying to teach his daughter the finer point of the game.
She showed great poise , until one of the athletes came into the crowd and grabbed Todd's Popsicle....
I think they are showing this on a loop....so I hoope you all catch a glimpse of this up and coming sport....

Yeah. Have to agree. It's not even mildly amusing anymore. Feger is like some annoyingly hyper, brainless Irish Setter that never settles down--just runs around like an idiot, knocking into people, upsetting tables... And it seems that our collective ignoring of his posts had him about to doze off and leave us at peace...and what do you do? GIVE HIM A KICK!!! GOD, DON'T WAKE HIM!! |

Agreed, but the last retired Kron post was one of the year's best. To do that kind of research at that time of day shows what we knew before he left, he's a little touched ... but in a good way.
Thanks,
The beater-upper of Kron's daughter's first boyfriend |

I hope we have gotten Feger to scurry to another board and waste server space, as he has been unmasked as a forum spammer.
I see the speechless only lasted but a moment, it reminds me of when I hit the "we lose" ball out of bounds against bundonis, I got about 3 second of shock from Voice then he returned.
- Thanks Q
I wonder what type of credentials it takes to teach gym class in Guam? I imagine whomever has the most chickens get elected to the position? |

I still find it amusing that out of all those sperm, he was the fastest. Shows what kind of finely tuned athlete he is. |

After closer inspection of the 1998 World Champion ---Ball champions, i am pretty sure the team was comprised of rochester area players.
Correct me if im wrong but from left to right I see
Rocco, Radcliffe, Fred Chase, Jim Mercer Brian Duff and Cal Wickens ?
[edited by admin]image removed, owner complained off copyright issues. If you need to see the pic, do a google search for rocball[/end edit]
It appears to be at the Sunset Bay beach club in Buffalo.
I guess a Congratulations is in order. I imagine if the total world player participation ever reaches 12 players, the finals will be even more exciting. |

Wow!!! That's a big trophy!
Hold on a second. Why was the picture taken outside? Please tell me that "that sport" is played outside on an asphalt surface. I am sure there is tons of defense and diving if that was the case. ( Note: HEAVY SARCASM )
Retired, you worry me. I have always known you to get rather punchy in the wee hours of the morning. However, I never thought even you would take such a large amount of time to do all that research. Oddly, I'm impressed.
I played with G. Monroe and the boys this afternoon. G was happy to hear about your little girl.......oh, yea, today he turned 46. If you care?
As for the 1998 World Champions, how about.....
Rocco (Good call, that's an obvious one), Fred Wallace, Ray Mallo, Roger Majeski, Brad Torsone and Scott Majka. They weren't that talented, but they could "jam" with the best of them.
If you look closely in the background you can see Paul Madue bumming a cigarette off Jason Croft. I should have figured they would have been there. |

That gets a close second behind Rhinos post about his uncle Mike's double ax handle spike in the picnic match.
I have devolved to about 12 hours online a day, and hope gary can find the "any key" to turn a pc and drop in. I wish someone would enlighten Mr black to drop in.
You are right on about Fred Wallace, thats him, but its also an exact "young" radcliff before you met him. So I guess what we have established here is that Fred Wallace is a younger, fitter version of Radcliffe....
Yeah that works for me.
I just re'viewed the photo, and the Scott Majka rocball player is a dead ringer.
I really enjoyed the GOLD MEDALS, complimented by the Duff player holding the Wendys bag.

Can't be me for 2 reasons. I am to short to be seen in the background of any picture. I also quit smoking (4 months) after 16 years.

Retired, you are the undisputed king of free time. I am impressed in some strange sick way by your new website.
Hell hath no fury like a Retired scorned.
Help me remember, I never did anything to totally piss you off did I ? I don't get scared often, but I would if I thought you were preparing to haunt me.
I am now waiting to see who's manifesto is published first. Retired, or Charles M.
One looks like the unabomber, one thinks like him. |

I am at the PC about 12 hours a day, and search engines are basically all I study. So it is no time from my day to load up a page and link to it from 200 + sites. Whole page and linking took about 4 minutes. Once I am top spot for rocball I can broadcast my sentiments more clearly. So anyone with sites, should post a link going to my page as well.
And...there was that one time we wrestled and you tossed me around pretty bad, once I had gotten to about 200lbs I should have come looking for you, but to wait is way more mysterious. All the the other stuff I clearly blame scooter for
But I just cant be mad at him, hes so damn good looking.

When did you and richie ever go right? all that "jumping high" can slow you down.
That was semis at sylvan, when Voice had given me permission to see other men.
