Watch out for these boyz, this team is da best on da east coast. All you guys think Eden 16 1s aer so great but we are better than you in most spots of our team. We have better OH's, Middles, and RS's the only thing you guys have on us is libero and setter. WE have Taylor Jones who is goging to A2 so watch out for this kid he is a machine and we have Randall who is a monster force at the net. Watch out for these boyz at nationals we are gunning for Eden and Pace....

As an uniformed bystander in this debate, I ask one simple question...has RVC 16-1 placed higher than Eden in ANY tournament this year??? And if not, what has changed to make RVC that much better??

Ok i'm done laughing
actually....i believe orlando came in third (by the way congrats to them they played great all tourney long).........which means RVC must have come in 4th or 5th
or did they loose to williamsburg? which means they came in 5th

But i do have to give them some congrats because they got a bid to nationals this year

FYI
One A2 player can not carry an entire team. Both Pace and Eden have 3 A2 players and Eden bolsters that with another 2 who are going A1. I also believe that RVC is a strong team but needs to work on a few major points of the game to compete at the national level.

Ever since we got our bid for Nationals, we have been in the gym day in and day out working our butts off to make an impact in nationals. I didn't say that we have done good against them in the past but we have made some major improvements and I'm pretty sure that the our team will finish MUCH better than Eden and Pace. Eden does have a bunch of high performance camp players so they might do as good as us but I know that we will do better than Pace. They always blow the important games...which is why they got blown out last year in the first two days of junior olympics last year.

They may have been blown out the first two days but they did recover and fight their way back all the way to the silver championship game. It takes a lot of composure and hard work to fight back from not winning a single game in the first two days to make it back into silver.

Yea...too bad you lost to all the decent teams the first two days. Doesn't take a ton of composure to win when you are playing teams that are terrible.

that is true its easy to beat teams that dont win either the days that matter are the first two if u dont play good those 2 days you have no shot of finishing in gold, and gold is what everyone is shooting for

Are you saying that teams like LBC, NSMVC and Highline Longbeach are all only decent teams??

It does take composure to secure a bid however.

By decent, I meant any teams that were pretty good to really good...which were the teams that you got destroyed by. Everything less than decent (terrible) are the ones that you beat to finish high in silver..good job

Theres like 6 qualifiers to get a bid for nationals...your bound to win one
Also, if teams like RVC and Eden already have their bids then they will keep going down the list and you will definitely make it...not anything to brag about I don't think

According to the results at ECC, I would say you should be happy to have other qualifiers or else this unstoppable RVC team would be in club for two years in a row.

rvc should not be talking trash on this forum. I do not play for either Eden or Pace but i do know from ECC and past years that these two teams are a lot better than rvc. And ur saying that Pace is always bad?
3rd in ECC last year, played open last year, 2nd in ECC this year. Wow mr.rvc everyone on this forum is glad to hear that u think rvc is way better. O and i forgot to congratulate u on taking Williamsburg to 3 games. Thats some accomplishment.

Well Xfactor, you might not be on either team...but what number is your little brother on Pace?

Third in East Coast last year? East Coast has only 3 decent teams so finishing third is terrible.

Played Open last year? Who didn't? All you had to do was pay the money to get in and you were there. It wasn't like you beat Eden so it would be paid for.

2nd this year? Only cause we had one bad tournament or else you woulda been home like we were cause you guys are terrible.

well thanks for the laugh

In the Can Am the Pace 14's scored 19 points on you, so the Eden 16s shouldn't have much trouble

Okay so if there are only 3 good teams in ECC, I believe that most everyone would believe that the teams that finished top 3 the last two years would be those teams.(Eden, Pace, and Orlando) According to the USA Volleyball site, you didnt play in Open last year it looks as if you finished tenth in Club so not everyone did play in Open. Pace did beat Eden to recieve their bid though.

Pace 14s scoring 19 points against us? We put in our second string players because we knew we were going to beat them. They are extremely talented for a 14 year old team and everyone knows that but playing our backups they are bound to score some points. We tend to not care about what people like you think about our team when our back ups are representing us.

Who cares that you beat Eden one time? That was last year anyways. Have you even beat them this year at all? Weren't they missing a couple players and using a dad as a coach? Hmmm good win. Congrats. How many times do you guys play Eden during the year? Like 10 times...Too bad your only victory comes when they had half their starters missing and no coach.

RVC hasn't even beaten Williamsburg at all in the last 3 years! How in the world are they going to beat Eden or Pace?

Haha wow. This must be some joke. RvcCrush u r just digging ur self a deeper hole. First of all, i have nothing to do with either the Pace or Eden clubs. I was at ECC and no i am not a parent. Second of all u said that 3rd place is terrible because there are only 3 decent teams at ECC. As stated before RVC is not one of them. They are Eden, Pace (the two teams u think ur better than), and Orlando Gold. RVC is nowhere in that picture atleast for our division (16s). If third is terrible and ur placed lower than what does that make u??? Lastly u stated that playing in open is no big deal. Where was RVC last year? I dont get ur point at all.

The pace player noted that it was such a big feat to play in the open. Its easy to get the bid to go to nationals because once teams already have their bid, it just gets lower and lower. We didn't play in the open because we didn't want to. When I talk about the three best teams its Orlando, Eden and us. You were saying that you got third place like it was such an awesome thing. Pace is a fourth runner in my mind.

ok lets see pace never lost the rvc ever, pace lost to orlando once out of playing them 4 times, pace beat the fifth ranked team in the nation twice at nationals(cinncinnati attack), pace finished 10th in the nation after doing poorly on the first two days, but it doesnt matter because we are the fourth runner in rvcrushes mind and ps you finished tenth in club... if your gonna talk trash back it up
