Brockport 4th...?
I'm not sure about that one, we're losing 5 starters and there's no depth. We'll be next year's Spencerport.

Ok...let move away from the stupid chest beating of a season that hasnt happened yet.....to ones that have.....

Lets have some chest beating about ......what is the rankings of teams that could have all their best players that have gone through the program on the court at the same time.......theoretically...

1. Penfield
2. McQuaid
3. Webster Schroeder
4. Churchville Chili
5. Bishop Kearney
6. Victor
7. Rush-Henrietta
8. Gates Chili
9. Midlakes
10. Fairport

Ok ...discuss.....

try and back up your opinion with either facts or stats.....if you cant do that...then back it up with complete nonsensical jibberish.......which could pass as fact on this subject....

a_dizzle:
He means: all the (best) players that HAVE GONE THROUGH THE PROGRAM - those from the past..ie. DREAM TEAM, not those coming back...sounds like big losses for them though.
Dirty, I know Penfield dominated for years but I think they lack too many big men. McQ and Webster are extremely close in my book for the #1 position...well balanced offensively and defensively, Penfield 3rd (but I'd love to see their ball control vs. the bigger teams McQ and Webster), Churchville-Chili 4th, Kearney 5th - same as Penfield, lack even more height but great ball control. The rest:
1. Webster and McQ
3. Penfield
4. Churchville-Chili
5. Bishop Kearney
6. Midlakes/Gates-Chili
8. Rush-Henrietta/Victor
10. Spencerport/Fairport

I've been in Buffalo for a long time, so i'm only basing this on what I remember.
Penfield surely deserves number 1, the late 80's teams were just sick. McQuaid has the ODell dynasty, did Q go there or Kearny? as well as others i'm sure....lock for 2nd. Good call on Webster and Churchville. Dave Payne's Webster team was very good also had the Federicos, LoVullo and the Lee Brothers. CC had Galloway and from what I remember CC accomplished a little more??? Kearny was very good from what I remember....Bonn is all I can recall, unless Q is from there. Victor has always competed for the Class B championship and has some very big mobile guys. I know nothing of Rush. I would move Gates-Chili higher on the list....Jackson, Yunker, Fussili (Sp?), Karelus team lost to a ridiculous OP team in states, but they were stacked. Also have the Mars brothers. Midlakes has been very strong lately, but not sure about past years....just don't know much about them. Fairport is a solid tenth.
So, with my limited knowledge....

1. Penfield
2. McQuaid
3. CC
4. Webster
5. Gates Chili
6. Victor
7. Midlakes
8. Bishop Kearny
9. Rush
10. Fairport

Remember....I am now a Buffalo native. Just going off what I remember.

Yes, Q is an McQ guy. Can't forget about anther McQ'er in Byron Schneider. Starting OH at Penn State when they won in '94.

McQ is #1 though for a simple reason. Eddy Waller would outcoach any opposing dream team!!!

haha to bad livonia doesn't have a boys volleyball team... maybe their girls would play boys division and rank seventh though, it's quite possible

Yes, I did make it through McQuaid...

1. McQuaid
2. Webster
3. Penfield
4. Chili (let them put both teams together...)
5. Kearney (they had these twins...cant rememeber their names though)

end of list

Penfield gets my votes for the best program because of its history...but for this list McQ gets the nod...
and Webster has had some sick players and teams...the coach isnt so bad either...
gates and churchville combined makes a great team....
Kearney had Bonn, Williams, the twins, Dede (went to Irvine to Play), Kraus, Karoll, Imperato

what were those twins names......Dork and Dingo or something....
