AOL users

Question:  Why do my images look more blurry on AOL's Browser and why do some have black bars on them!

Answer: America Online utilizes graphics compression software that speeds up the delivery of web pages to it's members by compressing images and various multimedia applications. Images that are BMP, GIF or JPG are converted into the proprietary Johnson-Grace image format .ART. All AOL members have the option of deselecting "Used Compressed Graphics" in their Web Preferences.

Boys Volleyball

Question:  Why is there no coverage of boys volleyball?

Answer: All I need is someone to contact with me the structure of the boys league. I need which schools are in what leagues, class size, etc. Basically the same information that the girls coverage includes. After that something would be up and running within a couple of weeks. Use "Contact" link in the "Local Link" menu to contact me.

Question:  What Does "Remember Me" Mean?

Answer: When you log into Rochestervball.com using your username and password, you can have your browser store this information for future use. If you choose to do this, your browser will store this information in an encrypted cookie on your computer. Nobody but Rochestervball.com will be able to read the cookie, so no other Web sites will have access to your Rochestervball.com information. Note: Because the information is stored on your computer, anyone who has access to your computer will be able to login to Rochestervball.com using your stored information. PDF Files

Question:  What is a PDF File.

Answer: PDF stands for Portable Document Format. It's a distribution format developed by Adobe Corporation to allow electronic information to be transferred between various types of computers. The software which allows this transfer is called Acrobat. In order to view and print a PDF file you will first need to download and install a copy of the Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Printing

Question:  How do I print color pages to a B/W printer?

Answer: There should be no issues printing any of the Rochester Volleyball pages on a Black and White printer. The pages are not yet optimized for printing (they are designed for screen not paper). If you have any technical issues contact me and provide the following info: Browser Type and Version, printer, and the specific error you receive when printing.
